IS THIS REAL LIFE

allowing Himself to fall
to be one of us
He was dirty like us
shared our pain
reveled in our glory
He walked along side of us
held our hand
showing us the way
He died as we had died
for centuries
for us
He is risen
so shall we be
if we follow His way
His path

to Heaven

Man, I love that one Disney movie

marauders4evr:

That opens up with chanting in a different language

With the royal family

image

And the adorable children

image

image

And the tragic death(s)

image

image

And then our hero runs away

image

image

And sings a really catchy song about being free

image

image

Without realizing that the kingdom is in ruins

image

image

And is being ruled by a villain who wants to be king

image

image

A villain who is really good at causing guilt trips

image

image

image

image

And so our hero goes back

image

image

And they all live happily ever after

It’s such a great movie

Wow you drew a parallel between two movies. It’s almost as if story telling falls into patterns and archetypes that appear literally everywhere in the Western canon.

American holidays are capitalist ideals expressed through pagan traditions wrapped in Christian labels.

y’all do know easter is celebrated like all over the world, right?

excuse me? Jesus was a white American. He was crucified on Capitol Hill by the Injuns and Betsy Ross wrapped his body in the first American flag, then three days later he rode out of his tomb in Gettysburg on the back of a giant, heavenly eagle. It’s in the Bible, book of Franklin 31:12-22. Also my fourth grade teacher said so.
